Story of O meets.... Alice in Wonderland! - a strange tale indeed.
Jaqueline was a slut,
Pierre was a limp circus clown in his outfit,
the other so called slaves were cats,
Rene was a pimp,
Nora was supposed to be Stefan's WIFE! Not his maid!
Stefan was a submissive letcherous chimp who just played away and 'likes his little games'
and o!
God forbid, she was the most un-slavish slave I have ever cared to see.
She got PAID to be his slave!
I like to think myself as a lover of L'Histoire d'O and relished the thought of a remake.
I thoroughly enjoyed Pauline Reage aka Dominque Aury's book, and although the film, had a slightly different ending, lol, it too was enjoyable.
Within a few minutes of watching this so called take on the book, I was bored out of my skull, bewildered, and completely furious that the producer could get away with making such rubbish!
I am not going to waste my breath or typing on any bit to praise it, I cannnot, it has no good points! Suffice to say my opening comments where a complete description of a film, which has shredded the heart and stamped on the ideals of the original film. I do have to point out to those BDSMers out there, that in the original, o is whipped soundly. In this, she is given a light flogging, and is blindfolded with a PVC cat mask - I ask you! pathetic! She doesn't even WANT to take that? Whatever happened to doing it for love? Even the story is wrong - I know its a new film, but since when was o a domme?
If you a lover of Story of O - leave this well alone - it's total crap and I am ashamed to say not the true spirit of Story of O! Pauline Reage is turning in her grave! -
