This superb follow-up to 'The XYY Man' allowed Don Henderson to step centre stage as Det Sgt George Bullman - the detective in the woolly gloves! This is crackling seventies telly: electronic theme tune, studio interiors, film exteriors, wall-to-wall British character actor guest stars- and there is nothing this intelligently written appearing regularly on TV today! TV heaven.
