Great film, terrible DVD

When I first watched this it was on some obscure sky channel at a late hour and I was thrilled at how close it kept to the characters of the video game while providing decent fight scenes. It's a shame then that this DVD is of such dreadful quality. If I had recorded it off the tv all those years ago it would probably look and sound better than the video transfer presented on this obviously cheapo rush job DVD. Perhaps a blu-ray version will remedy this one day. Rent this out but DO NOT BUY!!
