Very Dissappointing

Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie blew me away and is one of my favorite animes of all time. I didn't expect that this film would be able to live up to that, but I hoped it would at least retain the elements that made it so good to watch.

It didn't.

The storyline was unmemorable (i.e. I can barely remember it now) and from what I remember it wasn't particularly engaging or clear. The fight scenes have gone from great visceral combat scenes with a special move here and there, to the stereotypical anime-esque light shows you expect from lesser anime movies.

The animation isn't terrible but is not good enough to save this film from boring you silly.

If you haven't seen SF2:TAM go watch that instead as it's vastly superior. If you have, go and watch it again instead of this.
