Pandora Mode? Gtfo

I rented this game expecting it to be like super street fighter but it is far from it, it is a completely new game neither like Tekken 6 or any of the street fighters but with obvious aspects of both games.

I've probably played this game for about 5 hours so far, played some tutorial which is good I just wish they would actually tell you how to do the moves insted of letting you find them out yourself. Trial mode is good, it was first seen in Super Street Fighter and it was a really good addition in that so I'm glad they interpreted it into SFxTK, it's really helped me learn some of the moves. Online play is very good in my opinion, even though it does take some getting used to and it is advisable to play the tutorial and Trial before playing and try the cross combos. Also, the ability to play tag team with a friend in your team Online is ALOT of fun, me and my mate spent the majority of the time playing Online Ranked matches as a team, won the majority of our games which made it even better.

Arcade mode is just as it was in Super Street Fighter, which is pretty easy and disappointing but since most people buy this game for Multiplayer then it's understandable. The MatchMaking on Online Mode can feel unfair at times, my first game included me playing against someone who had 1090BP which is pretty ridiculous considering I was a first time player, obviously I lost but it didn't phase me so much. The main thing that annoyed me about this game is the 'Pandora Mode', it kills the character that you already have out in battle to boost your other characters attacks for a limited time, and this is a VERY limited time and considering it kills one of your characters aswell it pretty much just messes up your battle, plus it's way to easy to accidently do, the button combination for it is down, down and simultaneous y&x, this combo has messed up many a battle for me Online, it's pretty aggravating and a seemingly pointless addition to the game in my opinion.

very very very dissapointing game

considering i've played tekken and street fighter on the playstation so when i seen this i had to rent it but i'm so glad it's one these games i had'nt just gone out and bought it's the most slowest games i have ever played on the 360 and would prefer to play kameo that's how bad it is.

Incredibly hard to master.

Nice and interesting new features like specific Tag combos and Gems.

Combat is made easier with the addition of basic combos allocated to every character (Low hit to Med hit to High hit) which allows for Launcher combos...But this is game is still incrediblly hard like all Street Fighters.

There are a variety of game modes both online and offline to keep you busy.

To perform well you need both good reflexes and lots of previous experience with other Street Fighters. It's poor tutorial mode still fails to properly show you how to perform Special moves (Separate from Cross Arts) which aren't quarter-circles, half-circles or full circles. A video or clearer instructions explaining each movement would definitely help anyone who hasn't played Street Fighter before. For example; a newcomer might spend ages just to figure out how to do a Shoryuken with Ryu/Ken or someone who has never played a charge character like Guile.

Thus this game is easier is to pick up but still incredibly hard to master. So be prepared to spend countless hours trying to complete the Trials or trying to win online

And like all Capcom fighters don't bother picking this game up for a brilliant story (Cos it barely exists).

But with it's nice visuals and solid gameplay this is a solid fighting game for anyone with a passing interest in the series. Just don't expect to do well.

grrrrrrrr. how can two mega names get it so wrong, i love Tekken and street fighter but put them together and this is the end result. bring on virtual fighter and dead or alive 5

A different game which finds it's own place within the fighting genre.

I don't understand why everyone is hating on this game and saying it's biased towards the Street Fighter characters? I've played over 500 matches online and can safely say I've had my virtual butt handed to me plenty of times by high ranked players using Tekken characters(the tekken roster is just as good with practice). As for playablitiy its initialy a simpler game than street fighter 4, but after some hours spent in training mode you can start to pull off 30+ hit combos. I place the game as a middle ground between Super Street Fighter 4 and Marvel VS Capcom 3.

At least try it for yourself and dont be put off by die hards who only want a game to be either Street Fighter or Tekken.

Not my type of tea

I guess my rating will be low as I actually hated this game that I didn't understand all the high talk about as It's also probably because I don't like this sort of game where the graphics are poor compared to other games and you basically move to the side and kick some butt or have your butt kicked like me

I wouldn't buy it personally and I wouldn't play it again also
