A surprising little Gem

I wasn't expecting much of this film but was drawn into the story quickly and really enjoyed it. The best character by far was that of Limpy played with genius by Victor Maddern. He is so truly horrible as the club footed cripple that it is virtually impossible to empathise with him. Great old Noir.- Was this review helpful to you?
