THIS AIN'T NO PLACE FOR NO HERO!By MAVERICK (70 reviews) from Knottingley , 18 Nov 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]British Special Forces Sergent Michael Stonebridge and US ex-Delta Commando Damien Scott blast back into the action in this third season of this action packed series. This time they are up against war munger Charles Dance (classy) who is trying to manipulate Africa with a load of weapons stolen from Libya. Like the previous two seasons this is breathless stuff, but with a very good and topical script that has the Section 20 team rescueing British hostages in Mogadishu, hunting down al-Qaeda operatives and countering a nuclear plot that will change the face of Africa. There's plenty of gun fire, big guns and explosions as Stonbridge and Scott lay a path of destruction and bodies behind them, and also Scott seems to break his previous target of bedding as many women as possible. With a strong cast supporting the havoc including the new addition of Rhonda Mitra (Doomsday) as the new head of Section 20, no matter how implausable some of the situations may be, this is still very exciting and gripping viewing that although a TV show is made very cinematic.
If you like the previous two seasons you'll love this as the show seems to go from strength to strength, leaving us all waiting for the fourth season.

Strike Back - strike this sequel off your listBy MelissaMarabamma (218 reviews) from South Coast UK , 13 May 2013Disappointingly unoriginal and derivative plot line. Give it a rest Hollywood - replacing a British person with an American in the British SAS? There was nothing engaging about this opening episode. Having enjoyed the previous series, I am very disappointed with the producers and directors work.
special, special forcesBy mt101 (15 reviews) , 11 May 2013Disc One of this third series really continues where the previous two finished. Scott still finds time for 'extra activities' whilst under fire. Loses half a star for a bit too much of. Bit 'mucky' but all part of what makes the series I suppose. The other action is worthy of a watch. Good storylines with plenty of quality locations, could be anywhere, but believable anyway. Looking forward to the next disc. Well worth watching the whole three series.
Best action series I've ever seen!By a customer , 10 Mar 2013Rented this by mistake... Best mistake I've ever made!! Non-stop 'believable' action - so good I'm off to rent the 1st & 2nd series!!!!
