Most helpful review
Shockingly poorBy Michelle Schofield from London , 08 Jul 2008
[Highly rated reviewer]Having recently seen and loved Sex and the City the movie, I was looking for something to feed my appetite for a similar sassy, intelligent, witty and girly film. Having read the blurb on this, I thought it might have been just what I was looking for and with Sarah Michelle Gellar surely it would be atleast half decent?
Erm no.....shocking is the word I would use for how poor this film was.
The supposed heroine was a total drip and completely pathetic, her love interest (a rip off of Carrie and Mr Big) completely unbelievable, unlikeable and had more than just a little bit of a pervy old man vibe to him!
Cliched, quite boring and with some finger down the throat inducing cheesy lines, this certainly didn't fit the bill of what i was looking for.
To be fair to follow SATC is a tall order, but the fact that my friends and I were looking at eachother in confusion and disbelief, waiting for a punchline that never came for most of the film, is never really a sign of a good movie!
Don't waste your time!!

They have been in better filmsBy mb69 (1 review) , 16 Mar 2012If you are fans of either Alec Baldwin or Sarah Michelle Gellar then you will be disappointed that this is not better than it is. Stick to their other work.
loved itBy DarkAngelRFC (5 reviews) from Annan , 08 Feb 2011i loved this movie, i was really rooting for a great ending for Alec Baldwin and Sarah Michelle Geller. It is different to a typical romantic comedy but it is still really romantic and funny and sad at times, ( got a little crush on Alec Baldwin now after this ) watched this for the 1st time last night and bought it 1st thing this morning. I wouldnt say it was a feel good movie but well worth a watch.
Not good but not badBy dumbolives (269 reviews) from Shetland , 14 Jan 2011This was so not what I thought it was going to be. It was less light hearted than I would have hoped for. The chemistry between Alec Baldwin and SMG was suprisingly good and she is a much better actress than she gets credit for if she could make kissing him look enjoyable. The story seemed a little bit pointless to me but the relationship was not romanticised in any way which was one of the films few plus points. I can't really say if I liked it or not it was just one of those films that makes me shurg cause I just didn't get it!
Not so BadBy Rinz (42 reviews) from London , 03 Oct 2010I am a huge Sarah Michelle Gellar fan and I think she's a brilliant talented actress. However, I was really shocked with this movie as I thought she did not show at all and was seriously underused. The story itself is nice and Alec Baldwin was very handsome and charming and there was a good chemistry between the two of them, but I have to admit the movie was boring and poor at times.
Suburban GirlBy a customer from Bristol , 09 Jul 2010Bland or beige would be best words to describe this film.
I was disappointed and felt that more could have been made of this. Alec Baldwin seriously underused
