It's 18 months since we last saw Kim, and she's now 17, out, proud and living life to the full on the Brighton lesbian scene - in her dreams. In truth, she's holed up in her bedroom with only her A Level coursework and an electric toothbrush for company. Her best friend Sugar isn't getting any action either, but she's got a .. Read more

Series 1 was fantastic and broke down boundaries and series 2, if it's possible, is even better so far. It's interesting without being over-the-top and the things Kim gets up to are hilarious! This show is great whether you're a British teenage lesbian or not ;) and the plots and acting are superior to a lot of shows on at the moment.
The second seriese of sugar rush has suppased the origonal. There are more jokes, more charachter building plots and a exciting new commer in saint. over all it is great entertainment that anyone can enjoy, all you have to do it watch it on its own merit and not think of it as being a lesbian programe but a comady about life in the 21st century.
I ordered Sugar Rush as I wanted to watch this when it was originally on TV but kept missing it. The only thing that I can say is give it a go.
It is about the life of a 17 year old girl growing up and battling with her choices in life, which are usually influenced by her friend Sugar.
The second series is just as good as the first, with the inclusion of Kim's girlfriend, Saint.
Well worth a watch!
i love sugar rush, and have to agree saint is MEGA FIT!!! i really want her and kim to stay together, im gonna go to brighton and munch box, sugar rush has inspired me... great viewing!!! x

i think she is really nice

This is just as good if not better than the first series!! Sugar Rush is the funniest, real life, hard hitting and catching series I have seen in a long time and I hope they continue making them! Kim is a little older, not that wiser but manages to get herself into a whole lot more trouble! Right from the first episode you will be entrapped into her world once again as you are itching to find out what she gets herself into next from older women, sexual spanking and the whole new world of relationships. Def a must see!!
I absolutely loved this series, its so good to see something funny, and entertaining throughout yet still be based in reality. A def must see, Brilliant!!!

This - strangely - reminds me of Shameless, although the bohemian screwed up Brighton family set up couldn't be further from the Gallaghers' Manchester. Hilarious, touching, clever and thought-provoking. I suspect some will be put off by the fact that the drama centres around a teenage gay girl, but they shouldn't be. After all, as the drama tells us, that's just one aspect of living in a modern Britain which we should celebrate. A thoroughly engaging, modern series.
The series is breaking more boundaries than the last. Great writting and acting.
Picking up 18 months where the first series left off, this was full of laughs as you follow the lives of Kim and Sugar once again. It won't be everyone's cup of tea, given the lesbian theme to it, but I'd definitely recommend being open-minded enough to give this a whirl cos the one-liners and the younger brother Matt are a laugh a minute!
