Sugarhouse = sweetBy maxig (3 reviews) from London , 23 Aug 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]Saw this the other day and thought it was great. Fantastic performances by Ashley Walters (Bullet Boy) and Andy Serkis (LOTR, King Kong).
Hope it does well, way better than the average Brit urban thriller.

Great FilmBy a customer , 22 Jan 2013Really enjoyed this film. Acting was great and there were a few moments of humour. I think you have to stick with it to the end. Would recommend.
I wouldn't bother renting it!!By a customer , 20 May 2011Turned this off half way through, what a waste of time! I thought that this would get better, It didn't!
Half DecentBy lollypie75 (119 reviews) from Harlow , 10 Dec 2009I liked Ashley Walters performance the most in this film, however like one of the other reviewers I found the constant twitching a bit annoying, but I guess I have not been around that many crack heads to know if they do that all the time.
The only other really annoying thing in this film is the overuse of the word 'Blud'.. It is the same in Kidulthood etc.. blud blud blud.. it really gets on my nerves.. Blud!!!!!!!!
This film focuses on three people really and that is about it, it trys to be gritty and deep but does lose its way and drifts off into scenes of uncertaintity.
Still worth a watch though...
Weird title for an intense filmBy a customer from Petersfield , 01 Nov 2009Yes, I liked this although it took me quite some time to figure out that I did. It's one of those films that you half-watch but which plays on your mind for days afterwards. Very subtle and very clever. Great acting by the 3 main leads and interesting storyline. If you like films which explore the underside of life (and show it how it really is, blood and all), then this one is for you.
Interesting but...By a customer from New castle England , 10 Jun 2009Andy Serkis is amazing but the rest of this film serves just as supporting scenery.
