An all time favourite

As bad and silly as this film often is, not to mention its frequent lapses into sugery sentimentality, it is one of my absolute favourites. Hayley Mills and her family are given their dream house and proceed to have adventures. The romances are sweet and the songs - though ridiculous - great fun! If you're feeling ill, curl up with a hot chocolate and enjoy.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great Disney family oldie
By Dodger59 (10 reviews) from Hereford, England , 27 Dec 2007What a great family film this is. I'm sure it will still be enjoyed today as it was 40+ years ago when originally release. Burl Ives is superb (I love his voice) as is a young Hayley Mills Burl Ives sings the memorable Disney song 'Ugly Bug Ball' which everyone will remember and sing-a-long with (no doubt). The beatle bug ball
