    Awful

    I have never felt compelled to write a review before, but having sat through the best part of this film, I thought I should.

    I think it tries to follow Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, in as much as it's quiet, there's little dialogue, and it's set maily inside a spaceship with folks talking to the computer.

    Unfortunately, nothing happens. They have to re-ignite the sun, but we're not sure why, and to be honest, I wasn't really bothered if they did or not.

    The most interesting aspect was trying to remember in which other films you saw the actors.

    My advice would be to hire something else...anything else.

    Now listen here Sunshine

    For a film I didn’t know too much about in terms of plot and script I was expecting a run of the mill Sci-Fi drama with some good special effects to see it through for a couple of hours on a Monday night. It turned out to be some what different and is just a tad weird! Not being a space film fan I wasn’t expecting to rate this film highly but thought it would be better!! Reminded me of Solaris a little...........If you’re a subscriber on the unlimited package maybe worth a shout, but otherwise a film to not worry about seeing. I did give it 2 stars for being different and unexpected, but that’s all it is.
