super monkey ball adventure is the sequel to super monkey ball 2, but this game is different. super monkey ball adventure is not based on stages but it is more of a free roam game. the story mode has four different monkeys to play as, (baby,gongon,aiai and meemee. through the game you need to talk to people and then do missions for them. also in this game you can use chants to change the ball you are in. each different ball has a special ability eg. the wooden ball enables you to float on water and the punching ball attaches a boxing glove on a spring and onto your ball, this enables you brake things that you can't normally brake. there are also many players that you can be on party mode(multiplayer), there are up to 30 monkeys to play as on it. overall this is a great game and this should be the next game on your games to buy list if you like crazy monkey fun for all!- Was this review helpful to you?

Not a good Super Monkey Ball game, nor a good adventure game

Sadly, I was dissapointed to find that was a simple, fun concept was sullied by the adaptation to an adventure genre. It has it's upsides, but as soon as you find how to open doors by turning a crank ten times, which is genuinely hard work, you'll wish you went with Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. Which is fantastic.
