    I saw this on telly...

and I hope never to see it again. it was one of those things that you watch because there was nothing else on.

This is one of those films that should have never been made, not only does it not fit in with the Superman films it also suffers from having a non existant plot and terrible acting.

    Super to right

This film was watched over and over by my daughter when she was young and I can only say its still super today, its a film to enjoy on a wet afternoon for the kids, not for adults who enjoy plots etc. get real its fun so enjoy!

    Still OK i suppose

This movie was one of my favourites when i was a toddler, it just goes to show how films have changed as the years go by and cannot believe you actually used to watch them when you put them on again for the first time in years! Well its still good for kids anyway, my kids were glued to the box!!!

    Super...Not!

I rented this for my daughters as they love reading Supergirl comics, But this films was dissapointing. It lacked lustre of earlier Superman movies.

But there is hope for a better Supergirl movie, once the film companies decide to make it, they have been talking about it for the last few years!

    Super(Fit)Girl!

Only rented this so I could perv over Faye Dunaway in SuperGirl outfit, and was well worth it. She is major hot, and worth renting just to see her! The story is ok, but not worth renting for it. Only rent if you have the hots for Faye in Super-outfit!!

Supergirl - A New Super Hero!

Yes, Supergirl was Okay, not as gripping for me as Superman however Helen Slater was outstanding as the new female superhero SUPEGIRL. Kara is Supergirls name and she is introduced as being superman's cousin from Krypton. Entertaining and reasonably good worth watching, but there's no hurry.

    Super cheesy girl

Why is it that films that are badly made and badly acted seem to end up being fun to watch as they get older. Cracking cast but the storyline and script are shocking. Special effects are laffable. Still worth a watch.... once!!!

    Dross but Hot

    It is a terrible film.

I was deeply sad to see great talents like Peter Cook and Peter O'toole in this piece of dross.

That being said I am willing to give this sorry excuse for a film three whole stars for the simple reason of Helen Slater looking HOT in the Supergirl costume. There is just something about her demeanor in the movie that just screams...corrupt me!!!!!! (to paraphrase Henry Rollins)
