i was absolutely glued to this series as it keeps you going to the credits at the end - fantastic role on to the next part of the series

Fab!

It's true - scary just got sexy - some of the plots were predictable, but it's very forgiveable because of Dean and Sam (Ackles and Padalecki). It;s worth watching - kept me entertained on a Saturday afternoon.

Super - fantastic!!!

This is the best supernatural series ever. The directors & writers have done an amazing job + they've found the 2 best actors that just click on-screen - its almost as if they're bro's in real life!!! Its not just one of those series where you go episode to episode, theres a bold storyline throughout the season!!! Amazing!!!

WOW!!!!

This new scary drama, really had me gripped to my seat each and every episode. The storyline made me want to tune in episode after episode.

The two main stars of the show are defiinatly two of Hollywoods most up and coming young stars.

Cheesy but good!

I didn't think I was going to like this but my b/f persuaded me to watch it. Unfortunately I didn't watch it from the beginning so hence the reason for renting the series. It is cheesy in some place and some episodes are a rip off of other films, but the boys are so good looking it makes up for it!

Supernatural did get Sexy

After the success of X-Files, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel and all the other American cult series Supernatural is a little bit of everything.

Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as Dean and Sam Winchester, two brothers who travel the country looking for their missing father and battling evil spirits along the way. It also really helps that both brothers are witty and good looking.

The two brothers, bound by tragedy and blood to their mission, travel across the country encountering terrifying and dangerous forces most believe to be nothing but superstition and folklore, such as Bloody Mary, people in the woods, phantom scarecrows and many more.

If you're a fan of other US cult series then this is a must watch. There is an underlying story throughout but with new demons and problems each episode it keeps you hooked ... just a bit more hardcore than Buffy.

Worth seeing, but I hope it gets better.

Not as brilliant as Lost, 24 or Prison break, but worth seeing. I particularly like the creepy bits which keep you on the edge of your seat.

Not original but watchable

Supernatural takes a very 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' genre and heads the series with two male leads, the more commonly known Jensen Ackles and less known Jared Padalecki star as brothers Dean and Sam, respectively, whom like Buffy, are fighting against things that go bump in the night.

To be honest, I couldn't help but think 'this has all been done before', (in Buffy) and I totally fail to see how the series slogon of 'scary just got sexy' is relevant, because in my opinion the series is neither scary nor sexy. But in a nutshell whilst it may sound like I'm slaggin the series off I'm really not. I quite like Jensen Ackles and whilst not original, there is a slightly addictive element to the series that makes you want to know what happens to the two brothers in their quest to find anwsers - worth watching at least once, but until Buffy, once is enough.

Supernatural (Supergreat)

I caught a couple of episodes of this series a while ago and thought it was good.

Having seen the first 2 discs I can now say it is brilliant!

This acting of the two main leads is very good and they actually act like brothers with a love/hate relationship.

The actual stories are very good.

I must point out though that some episodes do take chunks of movies and use them.

Watch the episode called 'Bloody Mary' and you'd swear you were watching a Candyman/The Ring crossover.

Still, a fantastic series, well worth a watch!!!

Sexy Is Back

I am going to write a episode by episode description. If you dont wish to know what happens in each episode, dont read on.

Season 1 - Part 1 - Disc 1

1) Pilot - It starts with us seeing the starts of the show as children (4 year old Dean & 6 month old Sam). But as you will see a a horror will befall upon the family which will lead us to what we will love about the show. Forward 22 years and we meet Sam and Dean again. With their father John,missing,Deans ropes Sam into looking for him and along the way they encounter the 'woman in white' which lures men to their deaths. The pair decide to hunt her down and stop her. Do they do.....watch it and see. But their story doesn't end there. On Sams return home,what happened to their mom when they were young,happns to Sams girlfriend Jessica. This is now where the trail for their father and the hunt begins.

2) Wendigo - The trail contiues with the brothers heading to Blackwater Ridge,Colorado, Still on the trail for their father. But what they find instead is a trail of blood and carnage deep in the Colorado woods. They need to find and stop a Wendido,a cannibal spirit of Native American Lure, before it kills more people. All the while Sam is still trying to come to terms with what happened to Jessica.

3) Dead in the water - A girl goes missing from Lake Manitoc,Wiscousin,but who or what took her. This is what Sam and Dean need to find out. They find out that more people have been taken from the lake before the girl and they need to stop the thing before it takes more people. But what is it,a demon,a vengeful spirit and why are these people being taken. What is the connection between them all? The key to unconvering all of the answers lies witha young boy who witnessed what happened and was traumatized into silence.

4) Phantom Traveller - What would you do if you knew the plane you were on was going to crash. Well for Sam and Dean that horror is a reality. When a phantom manages to force a jet into a crash landing. Now the brothers have to board another plane,knowing it will crash if the dont manage an in-air exorcism. But for Dean,having a fear of flying will they do it and will they save the people on the flight.

5) Bloody Mary - We have all heard of the legend of Bloody Mary Say her name 3 times in front of a mirror and she will show herself in the mirror and kill the person who called her by gourging out their eyes. Now for Sam and Dean,they know legends are real, and so they go to Toledo,Ohio after a guy is killed,his eyes gourged out. While investigating,they not only have to stop anyone else from dying,but they also have to try and stop anyone else from saying her name.

6) Skin - Do you believe in dopple gangers,someone who looks exactly like you,almost like a twin in everyway,but evil? Well thats what happens to Dean. His doople ganger kills someone and the police get hot on both his and Sams trail. But is it really a dopple ganger or a shaft shifter & would you try to clear your name,would you go after thie thing and kick his ass? Well Dean that is what Dean wants to do. Both he and Sam know that they cant carry on hunting if the police are after them.

7) Hook Man - Urban Legends. We have all heard of them but do you believe in them. Well for one Eastern Iowa University student,urban legends are the way her friends are being killed. Now we all know by now that Sam & Dean have to believe in the but who or what is killing everyone one. And the girl,what is her connection to the victums and the thing. Being a reverands daughter,could she believe the horrors that have been bestowed upon her friends. And can SAm & Dean stop the thing or 'Hook Man' as he becomes known.

8) Bugs - We all have atleast on variety of bugs we dont like,wither it be spiders,bees or ants. When the brother ivestugate into the death of a worker who was working on a housing development in Oasis Plains,Oklahoma. While searching into his death they discover that the guy died from bugs burrowing into his brain. but could it be possible. With further investigating,Sam & Dean find out that the land of the housing development is being built on an old Indian burial ground and because of what happened with the Indians in the past,they left a curse on the land. Do Sam & Dean stop the curse in time or is it too late to save everyone?

9) Home - The hunt brings the brothers back to their home town,Lawrence,Kanses,and also to their own childhood home. Who or what is causing the new family bother. It was Sams nighmares that took them home,but was it a one off,had he had them before and will he again. Only Sam can answer that. While investigating the brother feel that the spirit in the house is the same one that killed their mom. And along the way they meet an old friend of their dads who help them try and defeat the thing in the house,but do they do it or does someone closer to Sam and Dean do it.

10) Asylum - Sam and Dean find themselves in Rockford,Illinois when a police officer, who had only that night escorted some kida from Roosevelt Asylum,took his own gun and shoots his wife then himself. What happened in the Asylum to make a once normal person turn to murder. As uaual the brother head over to the Asylum after some investigation,only to discover that some more kids are already there. Now not only do they need to find then and save them,but they need to find a lost body and sat & burn its bones. Then who is the caller who called Deans ceel wheile thye lay in bed?

11) Scarecrow - A year ago a couple got lost in Burkitsville,Indiana. They got help from a couple,but as they drive back to the intersection their car, and everything else dies on them. But something happens to them as they try and find help. We find out who the caller was and what he wanted. And he is the reason for Sam and Dean heding to Indiana. Along the way,Sam and Dean have a huge fight resulting in Dean laeving Sam behind. Once Dean gets to Burkitsville,,something happens to him that means he has to become the sacrifice. but whay are the towns folk sacrificing people? Now with Sam alone,he tries to hitch hike his way to California,and along the way he meets Meg. Who or what is she and what is her connection to the demon that killed his mom and Jess?

The acting from the regulars, Jared and Jensen is amazing. They have a strong relationship onscreena s they do off screen and I feel it is half the reason they get on so well. The adding of the semi regulars, Jeffery Dean Morgan make the storyline that ever more real. I mean if you believe in witches and demons.

The only down fall of the boxset is the fact it had no special features. Other then that I dont have anything bad to say about it.
