Well-versed in the supernatural after their father became convinced that their mother was captured by unholy spirits, Dean and Sam dedicated their young lives to hunting down these otherworldly terrors. But adulthood saw Sam drift away from these preternatural activities, instead choosing to settle down in a life of domestic bliss with his girlfriend. But when the Winchesters' dad goes missing, both Dean and Sam know what they have to do, leading to some epic cross-country trips as the brothers try to find their father. Amazing Series
Ok if you like to sit and watch a series that will not take 100% concentration to enjoy the exploits of Dean and Sam Winchester are for you.
Dean and Sam are Hunters, hunters of what you ask? anything that goes bump in the night or hides under your bed. Brought up through thier childhoods in the environment Sam tries to break away from the family career path to go to University, Until Dean comes looking for help and it all starts going wrong, that is season one, to go into too much deatail on season Four could ruin it for a NOOB so I will resist.
The monsters are never frightening but are taken on with comic relief and humour, the relationship between the brothers is believable but not overbearing.
I started watching Supernatural from S1 after a friend said i may like it, Well written and directed (by McG who before this and terminator could ruin anything he touched). You really get into the charactors, with each episode having its own story with a spine runnning through the series of a much larger plot i think you will find this entertaining and if you are like me addictive.
IF you have not watched Supernatural before watch from S1, this is not a series I would recommend watching half way through, but it is a series i would recommend literally anyone try.
As for series four with some of the best episodes to date and a cliffhanger that has me waiting with baited breath for S5 5 stars all the way. -

FANTASTIC SHOW!!!
I started off by renting S2 and got into it. I have now seen every episode on dvd to date and cannot wait for S5 to hit dvd!!!
