Mediocre Futuristic Style MovieBy a customer from SW London , 26 Sep 2009
[Highly rated reviewer]This movie is your run of the mill, futuristic type.Nothing new.And absolutely forgetful. Not a bad watch if you have time to kill and nothing to do.
Wanna know what it's about:Willis is out and about trying to save humanity from itself, but resolving the problem that humans are now living their lives through roboty things called surrogates.

A Decent Sci Fi - avoif the trailer it has a partial spoiler in it.By Dapprman (55 reviews) from Watford , 09 Dec 2012I think my views on this Sci Fi tale differs from many, including the friend I watched it with. The premise is nothing unusual, and while it is based on a comic book, it could easily have come from the pen of such authors as Philip K Dick. It should be noted that while a lot of the acting may seem a little wooden and cheesy, it's only for the characters who are 'surrogates' - those who are human are normal, so it was obviously done. Same for the slightly artificial look - Bruce Willis in a blond wig is amusing. There are some plot holes - though if you can move past a big one early on, as I managed to do, but my friend did not, then this is a decent movie. If not then you'll find yourself questioning too much. Over all it is a decent movie with a decent tale, a little predictable, but better than many others that have come out in recent times. One worth watching in my opinion.

Willis is getting older !By a customer , 18 Nov 2012Its a wet saturday afternoon film that you can watch whilst doing the ironing, if you miss a bit dont worry, its pretty predictable
good exciting family film!By a customer , 19 Oct 2012I don't normally go for sci-fi but I really enjoyed this film. It was a little bit thought provoking to imagine a world only lived through the surrogates from the comfort of people's homes. Good family film I'd say!
Surrogates, a realistic sci fi.By thecuckoo (136 reviews) , 29 Sep 2012Unusual Sci Fi film but could easily become reality so its workable.
Humans sent their robotic lookalike clones out into the real world so if they are killed in any way, as its a violent world out their still, the human is not killed and can order a replacement surrogate or two or three.
Great acting and good plot with twists in it.
Bruce Willis with hair as his surrogate is a younger version can't beat the older Bruce though he is great, sorry a fan.
