Come, Come, Baby!By MikeyboyPaines (53 reviews) from Fareham , 12 Apr 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]Insane, funny, mad, nasty, unpredictable, romantic, bizarre and colourful.
Contains scenes of murder, hypnotism, smoking, stabbing, commercials, flying, eating, bird imitation, Vinnie Jones and some dodgy toothed gay guy.
5+ star rating. This is a seriously insane movie. Love the soundtrack too.

Sorry, but what did i just see?By Idothheart (16 reviews) from London , 20 Nov 2009Bizarre. tres tres bizarre. i still can't make my mind up about this film - can't decide whether or not i like it. i loved the feel, the overall vibe. the characters are superb and the cgi is spot on. but excrutiating moments of silence and a litter of superfluous characters makes this film desperately unwatchable at times. SS5 is not concerned will mass appeal or even concerned with how it's percieved - making it quite refreshing as you have no idea what is going on and are forced to sit back and allow it to work its voodoo. with such a blase attitude there isn't much room for accessability - and i can picture viewers tuning out halfway through; never ever getting to experience the wonderful absurdity SS5 has to offer. all in all SS5 is rather hit and miss, spending more time doing the latter - although unfortunate it makes for an interesting viewing and is worth the watch if only to see something truly bold and original.
a story of pure awesomenessBy Picktokyo (54 reviews) from London, England , 20 Aug 2008This movie is filled with pure awesomeness, and that pure awesomeness is so awesome that it blows your head until your eyes rolled back to the back of your brain to bring you to a ride with superman until you're back to reality and realized that the awesomeness had just hit you again and again until you are too late to realize that the movie has ended.

What's your function in life?By a customer from Coleford , 15 Mar 2008
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideWhat's your function in life? Is my question to those who found this film difficult! Perhaps you should just stick to American TV movies that explain everything, every 5 minutes! For those who have not seen it. Watch it! Roll with it! make what you can of it! But most of all enjoy it! This is a rollercoaster of a film, the like of which you'll not have seen before!
Totally NutsBy a customer from London , 19 Nov 2007
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideThis may be the craziest Japanese film out there and trust me I've seen a few. Gen Sekiguchi bangs out five different stories all running together. These include chicken men, the guy that just can't seem to kill his wife and yes Vinnie Jones is in it too. Beautiful to look at. Full of 'that's the guy from...' moments. Hard to follow at times but stick with it, all makes sense in the end... kinda.
MTV Film eventBy Koppert (273 reviews) from Scarborough , 18 Oct 2007Watching Survive Style 5 is like getting the best MTV music video director and making them make a full length movie Asian Cinema style and so what you are left with is visually stunning sets and shots with irational acid trip story lines which is as fun as cinema can get. Amazing
