This is a good legal thriller... Cher is wonderful as a put-upon public defender trying to represent homeless mute ex-Vietname vet, Liam Neeson, who is accused of murdering a clerk to a senior judge. John Mahoney (the dad from Frasier) is excellent as the judge who will not cut Cher any slack in the courtroom. The only slightly dud note is Dennis Quaid, who is good in his role as the enquiring juror, yet I found his romance with Cher to be a tad unbelievable. Watched this movie a long time ago. Rented really for my other half.
Excellent. Although I knew the killer was I was completely hooked.
Good Stuff.
