A Woman's Rights Film

The subject is quite bold given the time it was made and it does tap very important aspects of what a woman faces, especially in India. Meenakshi Sheshadri, as always, has delivered a very good performance. The way the issues of a mother's marriage and all have been handled is very nice.
However, the age of children and their marriage concern seems very lame. Some issues seem to be pushed in. Overall a nice film.- Was this review helpful to you?
