    A breath of fresh air!

No violence, no foul language, no graphic sex scenes, just a good old fashioned love story!

Well acted with enough humour to make the film enjoyable rather than sickly sweet.

It was a very sweet movie! Interesting to see the DVD extras, like alternative endings etc.

Thoroughly enjoyed by all. Reese was great.

    Feel Good Snuggles

Now our long summer has ended and the nights are drawing in, this is the perfect film for an evening of snuggles at home. Reese is endearing as usual balancing a hard exterior with mush inside. She faces the ultimate choice - wealth and status in New York or true love in a hick town in Alabama. It cant be denied that this is a chick-flick but well worth watching for anyone. If you and your partner are in need of a snuggle fest or even if you just want a feel good movie on your own then close the curtains, put the fire on, pull up the sofa and a box of chocolates and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I dare you not to smile from ear to ear by the end...

    Fun Chick flick

If it’s cold outside, and you have a cold bottle of chardonnay inside and a couple of free hours one evening, then this could be the choice for you. Saying that the plot's predictable may be an understatement, but it's still a fun movie. The acting's good and the music was a pleasant surprise. This may not be a movie to put at the top of your rental queue but it's still worth watching if you have the free time.

    It's not *that* predictable.

I tried ignoring this film when my wife began playing it, but something really caught me. It contains sufficient plot angles to keep you interested.

It's no critics choice, but it's great family entertainment. When you've seen all your favourites, add this to cheer yourself up.
