Decent and underrated comedy with some laugh out loud bits
By a customer , 22 Dec 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
Maybe it's just me but I actually found this quite funny with some witty and relatable moments. Martin freeman is adorable and always funny to watch and there are some stand out, laugh out loud moments. Britain doesn't have a great relationship with sex comedies and maybe that's why critics didn't go for it, but it's worth a watch.- Was this review helpful to you?

(10)Not good enough for straight to DVD
By a customer , 17 Mar 2013First hour feels like a series of lame sketches linked by groan inducing captions and then it moves predictably into generic Romcom ending (complete with a sentimental montages) and SURPRISE SURPRISE they didn't actually have sex with anyone after all FEEBLE- Was this review helpful to you?

Bad, bad, bad
By CarlyCoops (1 review) , 15 Feb 2013Truly terrible. Had to stop it after 20 minutes. Horribly cliched and devoid of any humour. Avoid this at all costs.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not as bad as I'd been led to believe
By Welshbeard (7 reviews) from London , 06 Feb 2013[Highly rated reviewer]
This is actually not too shabby a film. Fun and surprisingly touching in parts, and not the laugh-free disaster that some reviews made out. Martin Freeman - as always - is likeable, and is probably the best thing about the film, but Mandy Moore provides a respectable co-starring role. The actiong quality is generally pretty good. Don't watch this expecting a laff-riot, but, rather, an amusing little film with some awkward moments.- Was this review helpful to you?

What were Moore and Freeman thinking?
By whp8 (21 reviews) from Sturminster Newton , 17 Dec 2012Terrible film. I wanted to 'Report a problem' that it wasn't worth the rental. What were Mandy Moore and Martin Freeman thinking? From the opening Hollywood fantasy scene about life in London - Freeman wandering through a market greeting the traders by name with 'see ya later mate' (he's an architect for goodness' sake!). To the Cucumber Scene, to the underlying concept that if you only do it once a fortnight your marriage is over. The whole thing doesn't work. This is the second turkey starring Freeman that I've seen, I shall be wary of anything starring him from now on.- Was this review helpful to you?

A fun film, you get what is on the tin
By a customer , 17 Jun 2012Fun. It was a fun mix of American and English humour. This movie didn't try to be anything it wasn't. It was fun and enjoyable. I enjoyed the viewing experience.- Was this review helpful to you?
