Feelgood
By yulbrynner (49 reviews) from Uckfield , 23 Feb 2008[Highly rated reviewer]
This to me is a movie that makes you feel good at the end while making you laugh out loud and feel sad through the journey. The fact is, we are all battling through lifes adventures and you dont need to be like anyone else to fit in, just be yourself. Let people like you for who you are and what you are. So if you want to feel good and walk of after with a smile on your face and a little more confidence you should give this a chance. Whos The Man would be another good choice or visa versa. I predict that we going to see much more of Amanda Bynes- Was this review helpful to you?

Sydney is all white
By MickeyJ66 (16 reviews) from Dover, England , 13 Oct 2011Well, well, well. Amanda Bynes has transformed herself completely from extremely annoying child star to funny and quite cute actress. This feel-good movie was an unexpected success, although critics panned it - normally a good indicator that the film is actually mildly entertaining. These critics haven't got a clue. Based loosely on the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs story, the movie was fun and a great way to spend a couple of hours. They shot by. Not quite as good as her movie 'What A Girl Wants', which is one of the joys of recent years, but nonetheless thoroughly entertaining.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great comedy
By a customer from England , 21 Jun 2010If you're looking for a film to pass 90 minutues without having to use too many brain cells, then this is for you. It's one of the better teen films of the last few years and definitely worth a watch. Funny, charming and entertaining.- Was this review helpful to you?

Charming re-telling of Snow White
By BigMeUp (281 reviews) from Midlands, UK , 21 May 2010As long as the film is understood to be a modern retelling of the Snow White fairy tale, the viewer can sit back and enjoy this lightweight, tongue-in-cheek fare.
Brilliant casting has Snow White as the pretty, but not over-the-top beautiful Amanda Bynes. This cleverly means that the audience must be drawn to the *character* she plays, not her physical attractions. Thus, by the end of the movie, we're definitely rooting for her.
Okay, Prince Charming is so-so, and the wicked witch is more stupid than evil; the seven dwarves include the unrealistically dozey `Nigerian` (complete with a made-up name which won't make sense to any Nigerian) - but, for all that, it is still an hour-and-a-half of pure entertainment.- Was this review helpful to you?
