  • It's a sobering thought. The first independent movie to gross $100 million wasn't Pulp Fiction or sex, lies and videotape, it was a comic book spin-off featuring men in turtle-suits scrapping read more »

    Good as expected

I'm so relieved that the makers didn't follow the stupid and rubbish live action version of the previous films.

This CGI version works 100% better and shows the love and knowledge of the comics by the filmakers. This wasn't made by someone who didn't know what he/she was making.

If you love the comics you won't be disappointed in this.

Although the cartoon series ended some time ago, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have returned - and this time they have topped the US box office chart. The computer animated film, entitled TMNT, was the most popular film in cinemas across the pond this weekend, generating $25.45 million (£12.46 million) and knocking historical epic 300 into second place. All four turtles are back, as is roving reporter April O'Neill, mutant rat Master Splinter and Casey Jones, an ally of the sewer-dwellin Read more
