Taggart is a really good detective series set in Glasgow and involves a team of skilled investigators who convey an effective impression of the realities of police work. In 'Skin Deep' the team are called in following reports of a suspicious incident at a health centre. This episode highlights the impact of health and slimming clubs on those who are vulnerable to the media focus on body image. I am a fan of the 'Taggart' series; however, 'Skin Deep' was not one of my favourite episodes.- Was this review helpful to you?

Typical Taggart
By Gary Sleith from Northern Ireland , 07 Dec 2004To be honest I'm not really a fan. I only hired it because Fish (former lead singer with Marillion) has a minor role. If you're a Taggart or Fish fan go for it - if not keep looking- Was this review helpful to you?
