Derivative, tongue-in-cheek and gore-all-over-the-floor horror, aimed at an adolescent audience.
Don't be fooled by the picture. This is NOT HBO's long running TV series on the same name but the original Hammer Horror movie where a number of guilty souls receive visions of their future punishments at the hands of a mysterious monk. A good old fashioned horror movie with Sir Ralph Richardson making a better cryptkeeper than any creepy puppet ever could. Won't blow your socks off but well worth a watch for any dedicated horror fan and not too gory so don't worry if you're not a blood-and-guts type.
