    What an average film!

This film is so average it's no wonder no one else has written a review for it yet! The acting is nothing special, the characters are developed half heartedly, the twist at the end is unimpressive and by this point you just don't care anymore anyway!

This film does have a good story (the love triangle kind of reminded me of The Hole) but it's so poorly done! You feel the need to watch it to the end, but it's certainly not a film that stays with you. I hate saying this about films but I really think it could have been so much better!

    Really enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed this one. I'd seen it when browsing my local video shop but never actually rented it so I thought I'd rent it finally. I really enjoyed She's all that & Anti-trust starring Racheal Leigh Cook so this one caught my eye.

I am glad I did rent it. It's a brilliantly made love story with twists and turns.

With three time frames involved, the present, the past before Alan turns up and the past after Alan turns up can get a bit complicated in places.

I definatley will be adding it to my collection.

What a tangled web we weave

This film has the distinction of being one of the few I've seen with full-frontal male nudity in a love scene, but no female nudity. Interesting.

Apart from that, the film is a pretty straightforward 'twist in the tale' type of story. Nice straightforward boy-next-door loves girl, who is in love with his mad, bad and dangerous to know friend. When the nice guy is found battered and bruised, and the others are missing, presumed dead, we have to rely on his story of what happened, told in flashback.

Have you guessed the twist yet? It's signalled well in advance, which gives the viewer the pleasing sensation of being one step ahead. Despite this, and the rather unconvincing dialogue, this film provided a pleasant evening's entertainment.

    Too slow

When this film finally got to the point it proved quite a good twist, but it took far too long to get there, in fact I found myself using the Fast Forward button several times to get past dull dialogue.

The plot revolves around the sexual tensions of the 3 main characters, but this element seemed to be lacking, or is that me just wishing that Rachel Leigh Cook had appeared naked?

Not recommended as it is too much of a plodder.

    Not a bad film

Have to admit, I quite liked this film, I was pleasantly surprised by it. I especially enjoyed watch Jonathan Rhys Meyers in it, as I thought he was very cute.

    Tangled

A boring, tedious film, the best bit, honestly, was the last 5 or ten minutes. Shame what went before wasn't as interesting.

    Mystery

A tale about two guys who like the same girl. They were best friends, 1 had a deep grudge against the other guy, the girl was naive, even though you gather she enjoyed the attention.

    They were all tangled.

There is a lot of mystery, which can be confusing at times, but towards the end you will get the picture.

    A good film.
