Very good little German thriller which has been compared to the excellent Se7en. Indeed, although the story is completely different, it has the same atmospheric feel about it. Starts off as a serial killer movie, but soon vears off into the world of self mutilation and the scalping and selling of tattoos from murdered or agreeable victims. Like se7en, the police in charge get caught up too personally in the events taking place with disasterous results for them. To sum up, excellent, atmospheric, seedy German thriller : well worth watching.
