i like Luc Besson. All of his films have an element of escapism, with a big chunk of fantasy. Taxi was funny, energetic, a little childish and though not exactly believable, it appealed to the child in me. Taxi 2 tries to be all & more of the same, but something is lost, either by, trying too hard or, perhaps, taking for granted suspension of disbelief. Maybe Luc's been watching too much manga.
