Rent the originalBy Ben from Down South , 08 Dec 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]'Taxi' joins the list of excellent French films badly mauled by Hollywood (Nikita to name but one). Rent the original, then cry as you read the description of this remake. Queen Latifah ffs!
Taxi 2 is also worth watching, but don't expect too much of a plot. Nice panties though.

Rubbish!By Nilufar (17 reviews) from Cardiff , 22 Mar 2008What A Waste Of Time!
The Only Part Of The Movie That I Liked Was The Very Start, With The Biker Riding Around New York...The Rest Was Just Absolute C*ap!
Its Just Has So Many Cliches! A Police Officer Who Cant Seem To Take Orders Correctly, A Taxi Driver Who Cant Just Be A Normal Taxi Driver! She Has To Have Some Modifications Done To Her Car To Be The Best Taxi Driver! What An Achievement! She Also Decides To Get Involved In The Case...Nothing Original At All!
The Acting & Comedy Was Horrible. I Rated This Movie One Star Because Of The Cool Bike scene, Otherwise It Deserves To be Thrown In The Bin!
Remake that didn't really workBy sanchee (6 reviews) from Ipswich , 20 Mar 2008I loved the french version and since I find Queen funny I decided to give this one a chance. Not such a good idea. The original is fully of action with humor blending into it, this is just a movie that has a couple of good scenes and shows that girls can drive and recognise car parts. Not to mention that the cop is annoying and stupid troughout the movie.
woefulBy ditcher (1 review) from Crewe , 29 Feb 2008I ejected this DVD after about 15 minutes. It is without doubt the worst film I have ever paid to see.
taxiBy CAROL1 (203 reviews) from Pontefract , 08 Dec 2007this film was enjoyable quite funny
BizBy Karen Lynne from Manchester , 11 Oct 2007this is pants.
Its cheesy, the comedy actor opposite Queen Latifah is full of himself and overacts. I wanted to like it but just couldn't.
Its just awful. Some of the car chase scenes are okay, but it got a universal thumbs down in our house, 5 ppl aged 13 to 60
