The two TEEN WOLF movies, the first starring Michael J Fox as the high school werewolf basketball player Scott Howard, played by Jason Bateman in the follow up.
TEEN WOLF: Scott Howard thought he was an ordinary teenager. But he soon realized, he's anything but average. The high school basketball player has noticed his body going through pretty odd physical changes. Growing excessive hair on his hands, ears and back has made Scott a little nervous. But rather than fight these werewolf tendencies he's gonna make the most of them. Who knows, they might just make life at school a little easier.
TEEN WOLF TOO:
Scott Howard inherited the family werewolf curse in "Teen Wolf." Now, Scott's college-bound cousin Todd, a bookish freshman, is carrying on and his full-moon transformation brings him girls, glory and a conflict of values.

In this likeable, if lightweight, comedy, a teenager who longs to be a little less ordinary discovers a family curse that kicks in when the Moon is full. Beneath the facial fur, this is just another film about growing pains, although it does feature cinema's only werewolf slam dunk sports sequence. As the unfortunate teenager, the ever engaging Michael J Fox is doing what he does best — turning a loser into a winner. Jason Bateman took over in the needless sequel Teen Wolf Too, after Back to the Future shot Fox to superstardom.
While Teen Wolf didn't exactly provoke howls of laughter, its innocuous humour did benefit greatly from the light comic... read more on Time Out
80s humour the first film is the best but both are good and a great rent 2 4 1
These films don't have an epic story line or great special effects compared to todays standards. These films remind me of when I was a young lad. The days of bad hair and really bad fashion, impressing girls and being liked by everyone at school...that is just nostalgia.
The film just brings a smile to my face because we have all been there and can relate to the poor guy in some way. All he wants to do is fit in and be liked and get the girl of his dreams.
This is a film where you can just watch and enjoy. Have some popcorn and nachos, it puts a smile on my face.
I prefer Teen wolf with M.J.Fox then Teen Wolf 2, acting is ok and script is average. Its just the combination of things that make it enjoyable to watch.
It's a great film from the 80's.
