Gory, graphic, gruesome and bloody hilarious, director Jeff Burr's second sequel to Tobe Hooper's classic gut-wrencher combines the suffocating atmosphere of the original with the razor-sharp black comedy of Hooper's second reworking. Kate Hodge and William Butler are the ingenuous tourists who this time take a backwoods detour and end up being prospective sausage filler thanks to Leatherface and his splatter happy family of cannibals. More provocative and taboo-busting than the first two entries in the censor-upsetting series, strong stomachs are a requirement for the tense grip this powerful charnel house of extreme horror exerts.
Banned from general release by the BBFC on the grounds that it is excessively violent - and you'd have a hard time... read more on Time Out
This is my favourite of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Films.
This movie has tons of gore, horror and violence centred around a plot involving a lost woman and a man who are aided by a hitchhiker and a survivalist as they are pursued into a marshy forest which is the home of a family of cannibalistic serial killers.
This is the best sequel ever! This movie will make you jump and scream.
I think this movie is made even more especially good as it has Ken Foree from the original Dawn of the Dead starring in it!
I also recommend the Original Uncut Version of Dawn Of The Dead I think these have got to be the best two films ever made!
Poor re-launching of this horror franchise by New Line from the late Eighties. It's overly glossy and lacks any of the atmosphere of creeping terror from the original.
Notable for an early performance from Viggo Mortensson but not much else. Just rent the original!
