What was Renee thinking?

I am not completely sure whether this film is a sequel or a remake because there are bits of the film that are exactly the same as the original but for the most part this movie doesnt resemble the 1973 classic- the main difference being that it was terrifying whereas this film is just embarassing.
It is basically about some extremely dim high school kids who have a car accident in the middle of nowhere and go off to look for help. Of course they stumble across redneck psycopaths instead. Leatherface who was so chilling in the first film seems now to be some kind of transvestite and is about as scary as Dame Edna.
Only worth a look to see Oscar winning Renee Zelwegger before she was a big Hollywood name.- Was this review helpful to you?

Be Warned

From the first few seconds I was disappointed, but I thought I'd sit through it, could get better. Silly nonsence!
