2nd Season picks up the pace

We join the story some 6 months later (although some of the character's story lines suggest a year has passed....but lets overlook that).

The season picks up with a two part episode, and if you liked the first series about the returning new improved abductees and how the ripple effect is supposed to help humanity survive, then you will like this.

Some of the characters have evolved slightly but still essential viewing and whilst some of the episodes slightly lose their way 2/3rd's of the way through they always manage to drag you back by the hair in the last minute.

    Recommended.

    Fantastic

I loved this series. If you like Sci-Fi stuff you will love this. It's innovative and compelling, I can't wait for series 3. I loved the fact that they don't drag things out too much, they tie issues up in the same episode and leave just enough going on in the background. Brilliant!

    Not fair!

If you follow the series these episodes give you more of the usual 'weird powers from the future' storylines but the twist at the end of the end of the seires with the 4400 disease and questions over who the good guys really are adds that little extra something to the evolving storyline. So why 'not fair'? Simply beacuse the last scenes of the last episode show a rapid evolution in the 4400, especially the enfant terrible, Isobel, and leave you expectantly waiting for series 3 to come along to see where these developemnts go.

The last series was great this one is better. And the final episode is a fantastic cliff hanger. I highly recommend this series and cannot wait to see the third season.

    Excellent!

I love the 4400 series, its one of my favourite programs. I cant wait for disc 2 to arrive. Ive got season 1, am renting season 2, and cant wait for season 3. Its much better than alot of programs and im surprised that its not heavily advertized (like Lost, for example) as its much better in my opinion.

Excellent drama better than Season One

The 4400. The quick back story is basicly throughout the 20th century people have gone missing, litteray missing one second they were the the next they were gone.

This includes one of NTACs lead investigators nephews who was with his cousin when he dissapeared putting him in a coma. Three years after his newphew disappeared a comet was heading for earth, when it slowed down and changed course. In a ball a light 4400 people appeared. To the rest of the world years had passed to them only a few seconds.

The second season is set 3 years after the 4400 were returned and continues focusing on a different 4400 each episode while following the main storyline of Jorden Collier and his great plan, along with Shawn whose Unlce Tommy works for NTAC. Each episode leaves a massive cliffhanger that leaves not wanting to wait to the next episode. If you add this put it as prioity becuase you won't want to wait.

If you have not seen season one I suggest you do first, as a lot of of what is mentioned in season two won't make much sense unless you have seen season one.
