  • 2nd Season picks up the pace

We join the story some 6 months later (although some of the character's story lines suggest a year has passed....but lets overlook that).

The season picks up with a two part episode, and if you liked the first series about the returning new improved abductees and how the ripple effect is supposed to help humanity survive, then you will like this.

Some of the characters have evolved slightly but still essential viewing and whilst some of the episodes slightly lose their way 2/3rd's of the way through they always manage to drag you back by the hair in the last minute.

    Recommended.

Well, I've been following the entire series so far, and very impressed with the second series disk 1. I was shocked when Collier was shot and then at the end disappeared from his coffin.

One can see parallels to the Christian faith in here as Collier is seen as the Christ, or is he? Interesting little comparison there. Will have to wait and see how it goes. As far as entertainment goes, yes, a big 5 stars from me for this disk.

  • a possible third series.........

I began watching the 4400 when it first screened on TV but sadly lost my way when other commitments interrupted my viewing. Now having watched both series one and two with no gaps I can only say how much I enjoyed it. The final scene left me wondering if a third series could be possible as it leaves the viewer still with questions unanswered.

So very disappointed in the second series. I was so looking forward to it, but it has become too formulaic and the same as all the other US TV series. Why does everyone have to lie to everyone else? Why do the bosses have to be so evil? The troubles of the couple with the baby are beginning to get on my nerves, the guy who can cure people has lost his senses and the son of the investigator is not believable.

I hope the 3rd series is better otherwise I'll not stay with it.

I enjoyed the second series, just as much as the first. As there are a lot more charactors in this series, it's often difficult keeping up with who's who at times. Looking forward to recieving the next series...
