Dallas diva Victoria Principal stars as a victim of domestic violence in this fact-based drama. Playing a wife, mother and career woman, Principal faces mental and physical abuse from her menacing, unemployed, ex-cop husband played by Robert Hays (stretching his acting muscle from his Airplane! days). After leaving him, he refuses to accept her defiant behavior and begins to terrorise her. While the wife-abuse drama is not new to the airwaves, veteran TV director Larry Peerce (Goodbye, Columbus) pulls engrossing performances from his stars and covers this disturbing topic sensitively.
Good movie, if you have time to spend watch it. Good performance by the 2 main people in movie. Good story line.
A perfect film for a week night, when you fancy a glass of wine and time out. Definitely a woman's film, Victoria Principal's acting is spot on and she really catches the horror of an abused wife.
