Great idea, superb film...
By PaulaWestwood (397 reviews) from Ashton-Under-Lyne , 03 Mar 2008[Highly rated reviewer]
After seeing Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the superb P.S. I Love you, it was great to watch him on screen again in a pretty similar role in this one, and I hope there are many more . The accidental husband is a really great little idea, with some excellent scripting and performances from all involved, not a completely 'samey' sort of rom-com this one has more to it and as sentimental as it is, one of my top rom-coms of the year so far. On top of that it has a superb cover version of the Buzzcocks 'Ever Fallen In Love With Someone' just at the right point of the film. Definately worth a watch and recommended for a cuddly night out - or in !- Was this review helpful to you?

Just like any other cheesy chick flick
By a customer , 22 Aug 2012Predictable storyline, much the same as any other chick flick at the moment. It was an okay feel good movie but nothing extraordinary. At time it was just cringy because it was so cheesy.- Was this review helpful to you?

Will I ever learn?
By jessicaporter (9 reviews) , 14 May 2012This was boring, boring, boring. I adore Colin Firth which is why I borrowed it. Maybe I should stick to British films with Colin Firth. Eventually I will know what I like and don't like!- Was this review helpful to you?

What a stupid film
By Tweedie (30 reviews) from Powick , 30 Apr 2012Really - this was not worth watching. Two good actors, Uma Thurman and Colin Firth, but this film was worthy of neither of them.- Was this review helpful to you?
