Stamp of approvalBy a customer from Tyne and Wear, England , 24 Aug 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]Being a huge fan of Guy Pearce I, naturally, wanted to see this film. However, I found myself more drawn towards the performances of the film's other two co-stars. Terence Stamp gives the performance of a lifetime as drag queen Bernadette, and Hugo Weaving (The Matrix's Agent Smith)is equally outstanding. The film follows the adventures, and mis-adventures, of the trio of 'ladies' as they make their way to an engagement halfway across Australia, on their pink bus Priscilla. The film is funny, poignant and compelling, and shows Australian film-making at its best. It certainly has my Stamp of approval.

An enjoyable camp rompBy Antony (18 reviews) from HOOK , 28 Nov 2013Great music and camp fun in a somewhat aimless movie set in the Australian outback Worth watching for light entertainment value
All good funBy Gray2 (221 reviews) , 20 Nov 2013A story about drag queens journeying to Alice Springs for a gig. 'Priscilla' is the name given to the bus that takes them there. The movie concentrates on the relationships between the three passengers and their adventures along the way. Just as it's starting to bore, it gets spiced up by the introduction of two extra characters: a mechanic called in to fix the bus, and the son of one of the drag queens from a previous straight marriage. Good little story, with a satisfactory ending.
