To see The Adventures ...
By a customer from Nottingham, England , 22 Feb 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
To see The Adventures of Robin Hood, for the first time since they were originally broadcast on ITV back in the 1950's, was a step back to the days when makeshift scenery and some hammy acting made excellent viewing. If only programmes could be made the same today, nearly everything that is made now is far too serious with too much violence. Richard Greene was perfect for the part of Robin, and lots of up-and-coming actors made cameo appearances on the show.

(2)Robin's Good!!!
By len mason from kent , england , 20 Jun 2007I remember the first time i heard the intro when i was about 10. I watched Richard Greene on a 14'' B&W in my older brothers living room as we did not have a tv in our house.
All the old episodes take me back to my early childhood, i still find them good to watch, but now picking out actors that are well known now and only just starting out then.- Was this review helpful to you?
