[Highly rated reviewer]I like superhero movies and this intrigued me, so when I came to watch it I wondered what would happen.
Its clear that the original idea came from a kid, but the story is fantastic. I can see a successful writing/ scripting future ahead.
It would be nice to see a sequel to see what happens to Lavagirl and Sharkboy. The two titled characters are both named Taylor in real life I bet that was confusing!

Worth watching.By Lelboy (269 reviews) from East London , 07 Apr 2007This pseudo animated film is worth watch, simply because of the original script. More suited, perhaps, for those interested in computer games - as the fantasy is somewhat akin to such things - it is, however, good family entertainment, especially if the 'grown ups' remember that they were young once!
7 year old loved itBy NickLe (41 reviews) from Bury , 16 Feb 2007She saw it advertised & wanted it. She thought it was great, I fell asleep. She watched it 3 times in 2 days.
Not so fantastic fantasyBy a customer from UK Herts , 17 Jan 2007This sounded like a good film but didn't really get me going although my seven year old enjoyed it. Some humourous moments but not a film I would choose to watch again.
