(5)This is a Home Alone/Die Hard Hybrid
By Wayford (1 review) , 01 May 2013I wasnt expecting this film to be much but suprisingly it was ok. Yes you have to forgive some of the plot and stuff but overall very watchable.- Was this review helpful to you?

Enjoyable retribution
By Lecter (36 reviews) from Darlington , 24 Mar 2013Really enjoyed this and forgot relevance of the title until half way through the film. Violent but we found ourselves cheering for the mute ant-hero who could surely grow up to be Jason Voorhees. Not for the squeamish.- Was this review helpful to you?

DULL, PREDICTABLE & FAR FETCHED
By kpk (11 reviews) from Manchester , 04 Dec 2012Predictable, laughable at some of the GAPING holes in the story line...(grown man and teenage daughter can't budge a mattress up the stairs and then later can't budge a filing cabinet off the van as it's too heavy, but miraculously the kid can move them both when needed and seemingly by himself as everybody has been disabled by that point!!) It was a joke of a film, there are no big names in this film even though it's american, and the reason for this is, it's utter pants! Don't bother renting it... It's home alone but slightly more brutal...very disappointed at the previous reviews as they were the only reason I rented it :(- Was this review helpful to you?

Don't be home alone
By smudge1066 (12 reviews) from Sutton Surrey , 03 Oct 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
This is a good film. I have to admit, I didn't think it would be, due to the obvious similatities to Home Alone, a film which worked because of it's humour.
But Jacob Reynolds steals the show, and whilst his character is undoubtedly a whole lot darker than Macauly Culkens' there is humour there too.
This is definately worth a watch.- Was this review helpful to you?
