I love this series. It does not have the polish of the US blockbuster, nor the silicone and big teeth! However, it is all the better for it.

Definitely not for the younger viewer, with bad language, adult themes and lots of flesh, this is low tech sci fi/romance/drama, and relies on good scripts, story, dialogue and acting. The good guys are not gorgeous, skinny and blonde, but are believable and interesting.

The storyline might sound naff, but it does work; reincarnated norse gods getting by, waiting for Odin to turn 21 and then find his soul mate, Frigg. Plenty happens in the meantime, and you love, detest and then love the characters again.

I hope this is one series which has a proper ending, and does not just tail off.

I was lucky as first disc did not work. Got disc 2 before I received the replacement for disc. one..Pity. Watched part of disc 2 on fast forward. Did not really bother watching disc 1. I thought it was a load of Aussie type rubbish. Utter c..p. Will not bother with rest of discs.

Low tech fun, its a bit crude but worth the effort to watch. Plenty of laugh out loud moments and a story that some how manages to carry you along. This is not Heros or any big budget series, this is low budget beer drinking bloke stuff.
