Pointless Remake
I can't understand why this film was made. It would be perfectly fine had the original 1979 movie never been made. The 79 version which starred James Brolin, Margot Kidder and Rod Steiger is as good as this 2005 version with Ryan Reynolds and Melinda George. The story has been varied a little but not a great deal and certainly not enough to warrant a remake.
So, if you've seen the DVD don't bother with this new version, spend your money on another film.

Ryan Reynolds and Lisa Kudrow are set to appear in a new comedy written by the makers of Justice League, it has today been reported. Shooting for Paper Man, written by Kieran and Michele Mulroney, will begin in New York and Montauk during November, according to Variety.
