    Where Are The Missing Bits?

The producers say in one of the special features that they want to make the movie as close to the true story as possible based upon the book by Jay Anson. Why then does the whole movie seem to flash past in 5 minutes. There are loads of scary and interesting things in the book that have just been glossed over or totally ignored. The whole thing seems to be over before it's begun.

Melissa George tries her hardest so disguise the Australian accent, perhaps she should have stayed on Home and Away.

The only saving grace is the performace of Ryan Reynolds whose descent into the madness of the house is quite unnerving.

All that been said it was watchable but don't expect a remake of the book.
