Sub-Exorcist goings on, a shameless exaggeration of some of the alleged facts retailed in the best-selling book. A shocker for the uncritical.

A classic number this, evil voices, polterghiest activity, and blood leaking walls, and the unfortunate clergy. One of the best horrors of all time.
This took me back to my childhood days.....when Horror actually meant Horror
Fantasic and still earie after all these years....worth watching over and over again
Yes, for those that remember this was quite the chiller for it's time; looking a bit dated now but worth watching on a cold rainy Thursday.

Good movie from the opening credits, starts off with a camera view outside the amityville house with creepy music in the background - then unfolding into the story of the new people moving into the house, who are unaware of what happened in the house 12 months prior to the date of them moving in with the children.
Then the real horror unfolds as they try to settle in however finding it strange as some of the guests begin to feel ill as they enter the building and say they need to leave at once, not much longer is it before the Lutz family too move out of the house never to return.

This is a must see for any horror fan!!
fast paced, freaky stuff & although it's 70's the effects are quite cool. The new version is much scarier of course, so if your looking for a taster this is the one to watch!!

We too experienced a very similar chain of events but unlike this family, our dog was not affected.
This has to be one of the classic horror movies. A must see for any film buff. If you havent gotten round to this one then it is deffinetly worth a look. If you can get past the dated surroundings then the story and acting will grip you.
I really enjoyed this movie being hailed as a classic horror film. The peciluar thing about this film is not only the similarities between 'The Shining' but, that, it was partially based on true events.
i quite liked this film
i found it quite scary to
weird worth watching if u havent seen it
Not as scary as i'd hoped but there are a few bits in it that make you think, storylines good but actings rubbish.
