Best sketch show to date

This is possibly the best sketch show I have seen. If you like Catherine Tate and Little Britain then you are sure to like this. Alexander Armstrong you may have seen before on many comedy panel shows, such as Have I Got News For You and you may also recognise him from the Pimms TV commercials, however Ben Miller is a little more elusive, he has worked alongside Rowan Atkinson, Steve Coogan and also Martin Clunes in various performances, but I have yet to see them.
Both comedians are absolute genius and deserve the five stars that I have given them.
Give them both the credit and watch this show. You wont regret it.- Was this review helpful to you?

(3)Armstrong & Miller - 3 stars - just finding their feet
By Derwent (6 reviews) from Battersea, South Chelsea, London , 02 Dec 2010I think its fair to say that the Armstrong & Miller team is smarter than the average sketch show, and I agree if the previous review that the whole series is witty and subtle. There are some strong, memorable characters but not that they get stuck in a rut, this series they are just finding their feet with some characters.- Was this review helpful to you?

Brilliant start, but a bit repetative later on
By WrigglyGecko (12 reviews) from Bangor , 08 Apr 2009I was really impressed by loads of the sketches and characters in episode 1. The RAF men are unforgettable. Armstrong's 'who do you think you are' spoof was hilarious, as was the Gordon Ramsey sketch. Then episodes 2 and 3 likewise had a few really funny and spot on sketches. Really enjoyed the daytime TV presenters and 'Half Price Pots', for example. After that though, I found it all got quite tedious and predictable. Many of the things which were very funny when they first appeared in episode 1 were no longer funny by the time they appeared for the seventh time in episode 7, there was a fair bit of weak material, and some things I just found a bit sick. Never liked the Flanders and Swann spoof, for example, but that's just me. DVD extras are a fairly interesting interview with the duo, and a few outtakes.- Was this review helpful to you?
