(7)Intimate & captivating
By a customer , 08 Jun 2013This is a really well written film with many memorable moments. It's better for me not to elaborate on the plot because even the most basic premise is a bit of a spoiler and you should take it all in without any preconceived notions. Suffice to say there is a very small amount of action, but it is poor quality compared to what Hollywood produces so do not rent for that. Rent for the fantastic chemistry between the 2 main characters. This is not a dull arty film with dialogue. Both leads give extraordinary performances showing great character development. The one issue I had is that a character was unsure how to shoot a gun despite having been in the army, but there could be an explanation for that. I would compare it favourably to The Machinist. A film about a psychologically disturbed individual with a grimy warmth and fantastic acting that really draws your attention, but that's not everyone's cup of tea.- Was this review helpful to you?

depends what your expecting.
By Sab76 (75 reviews) from Birmingham , 21 May 2012This wasn't what i was expecting at all. Avoid if your expecting a high action thriller sort of film. Its a slow burner and probably cuz i was expecting something else a disappointment but i sat through it and i've seen worse.- Was this review helpful to you?

Competent thriller
By Dungbeetle (503 reviews) from London , 21 Jul 2011Israeli film with subtitles for russian and israeli speech where english not spoken. Olga Kurylenko looks smouldering and bemused as the sex worker forced to kill victims for her bosses. She is ably supported by Ninette Tayeb as her battered neighbour.who becomes her only friend in a mad world of violence. Gripping throughout.- Was this review helpful to you?
