Simple-minded lower decks farce, with lots of confusion and cooing over the baby, but not much to laugh at.
A very British comedy with a talented cast, many of whom were destined to go on and make successful careers. Well worth watching for the acting alone. It has many of the elements that made the 'Carry-On's' so popular without the crass slapstick! The plot is almost believable.
