Great film - very well acted by Leonardo di Caprio. Gritty and hopefully serving as a realistic picture to put any one off the lure of hard drugs.

Punk musician and poet Jim Carroll has died following a heart attack. He was 60. Carroll, best known for his memoirs, The Basketball Diaries, which were adapted into a film starring Leonardo DiCaprio in 1995, passed away at his home in New York on Friday (11Sep09).
