[Highly rated reviewer]This was much, much better than I expected. It had some similarities to the old cult films of the 80's where the goodies are in fact baddies and they all have a certain set of skills or characteristics which separate them form the others, much like some old war and cowboy films. It also has a great villain (Billy Bob Thornton) who you soon realize is much more violent and calculating than you think at first. The film is quirky, dark and has lots and lots of violence. Some sketches have a more comedy approach to them but the acting is superb and if it wasn't for the 1st rate acting this film would have fell short and just came across as a comedy which it really isn't. It's a great fun movie with lots of classic violence, gangs, girls and guns...all done with a nice dark funny twist. Well worth a watch.

Spawn of Tarantino & RitchieBy a customer , 09 Jun 2013
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideIt's very easy to criticise, so first the positive: well acted and looks colourful and shiny. The negative: there's nothing original here. Although the performances are decent, it's obviously made by someone brought up on Tarantino and Guy Ritchie movies, which is not a bad thing except for the fact that you've seen it all before. All the boxes are ticked that will draw funding to get a film like this made sexy chicks in BDSM gear on bikes: check. Guns: check. Mindless violence: check. There's also a Lord of the Rings quality to the fact that the brothers will first have to battle the deadly female fighting troop, then the black badasses, then the Native American gang, etc... Lastly, the colourist seemed to have one or two off days while working on the picture. Why are some scenes true to life and others have a yellow wash that turns the sky green? Off-putting. All in all, a lot of effort's gone into it but I got bored as it couldn't maintain momentum. But if your expectations aren't high, there are worse films out there.
Good entertainment in a wierd wayBy a customer , 07 Jun 2013This was much better than I expected I enjoyed it. I even liked the mad men in the end. Ok it was very far fetched but the entertainment value was good. The lad was great and the odd kind words to him were special. Stay with the film it is better than you first think.
